Creamy Chicken and Tortellini Bake

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • Cook 1 package 20 oz cheese tortellini as directed on the package
  • 2 cups fresh spinach roughly chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Sauté garlic in a little oil until fragrant (I use my large skillet!).
  • Mix in the cream, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
  • Simmer the mixture and add spinach. Cook until wilted.
  • Add the shredded chicken, and cooked tortellini, and ensure everything is coated.
  • Place the mixture in a baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is nice and bubbly + a golden color.
  • Allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
